Fundamentals First, Inc. provides year-round camps for children in grades K-8.

Camps are initially set up by age but as the participants progress through the camp they will be placed in groups that match the skill level. The participants will be evaluated on a variety of skills that include, ball handling, footwork, basketball IQ, and overall strength. As players master a pre-determined set of skills they will move to the next rank level in the learning tree. Think of it as earning a new belt in a Martial Arts program.

The goal is to have participants work on the skills taught at camp on regular basis. The goal is for the participants to see the rewards of hard work and challenge themselves to “climb the ladder”.
